A beautiful pomegranate

In late summer, ripe pomegranates are just one of the many lush and mouth-watering sights that greet the visitor to Turkey nearly everywhere. Along with cherries, oranges, lemons, melons and innumerable more or less exotic vegetables, they are the product of many centuries of human us of the landscapes and soils of Anatolia, rich or poor as they may be.
