Newsflash Autumn 2009

We are delighted to announce our tours for 2010 - please see below. We have some fabulous cultural holidays for you to choose from in Turkey and Greece, as well as our planned first venture into Sicily.

Once again we have some classic tours for your delectation, trips like our ever popular Sailing the Lycian Shore, Walking & Sailing the Lycian Shore, and Springtime in Pamphylia, as well as our signature tour retracing the route of Alexander the Great.

Our family holidays are almost always the first to fill up, and we currently have 3 tours in Turkey to choose from, timetabled to coincide with the UK’s spring and autumn half term holidays as well as one in the summer.

We had such wonderful feedback from our 1-week Greek island tours this year (comments included ‘fabulous’, ‘beautiful’, ‘exceptional’), that not only are we running these again, we are also creating a 2-week version cruising through the Dodecanese all the way from Samos to Kos.

Food has always been one of the great highlights of our gulet cruises in Turkey. Some might say the cook is more important than the captain on the boat! It was the love and interest in Turkish food, expressed by many guests, that prompted us to include recipes in our newsletters, to start work on a Turkish cookbook (still in preparation), and to now be in the midst of devising a Gastronomic Gulet cruise. It will be sure to whet your appetite. 

The great majority of our 2009 tours were fully booked well in advance, and we already have a large number of people who have provisionally reserved places for 2010, so I urge you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Payments by credit card: we can now take deposit and balance payments by credit card. 

Financial protection: all your holiday payments to us are fully protected - our trips are covered by a Failsafe insurance policy with IGI .

Private charters: if you have a group of family or friends who would like to go on a gulet cruise, we can arrange one just for you, complete with expert guide and all logistics taken care of.

Value for money: one recent guest told me what a delight it was not to have to keep putting her hand in her pocket to pay for things. She emphasised the fact that with almost everything included in the tour price, our holidays are ‘wonderful value’.
