Peter Sommer Travels joins Responsible Travel

We are delighted to announce that we have been formally accepted as a member of Responsible Travel. We’ve recently spent a great deal of time thinking about our tours in Turkey, Greece, and Sicily in order to make them as ‘responsible’ as we possibly can, and as a result you can now find our trips listed on Responsible Travel’s excellent website.

The whole reasoning behind what we do is borne out of a genuine love and respect for the placees we visit - Turkey, Greece, and Sicily. We believe that our small group cultural tours are a positive force, enlightening our customers and bringing economic benefits to local people.

We try to provide tours that are above all educational tours - holidays with a cultural purpose, while at the same time trying to minimize our impact on the environment. The majority of our vacations are archaeological tours - historical adventure holidays.
