Peter’s most recent TV series, was recently awarded a Learning on Screen Award by the British Universities Film & Video Council. The series was shown on BBC2 in the UK in autumn 2005, and is now out on DVD. In twelve programmes Tales From the Green Valley follows five experts for 12 months as they work a Welsh hill farm as it would have been in the year 1620, the reign of James I. Beautifully filmed through the seasons, this rich and sumptuous series is an inspiring visual feast for all those who like history, technology, food, and the British countryside.
