2008 Turkey travel brochure now available

Hot off the press, our new 2008 tour brochure is now available!

It is amazing to think it was 13 years ago that I first set foot in Turkey. A young man’s 5 month adventure back in 1994 – walking 2,000 miles from Troy retracing the route of Alexander the Great – has ended up fundamentally changing the direction of my life. I fell so deeply in love with the country, its people, and the wondrous remains of its past, that I’ve been going back year after year ever since – not on solitary escapades like my first, but as a guide wanting to share the country’s archaeological bounty with others.

I’m delighted to say that Peter Sommer Travels is going from strength to strength. 2007 was an exciting year for us – record bookings, a new office manager, and now brand new offices. 2008 promises to be even more exhilarating.

Thank you again to all those who have sent in photos from their trips. They help to make our brochure all the more visual every year. Very soon you’ll be able to see not just photos but also videos of our trips. I recently returned to a spot of directing, and the results in full glorious technicolour will appear on our website soon.
