Dr Cathie Draycott
Cathie Draycott is an assistant professor in Classical Archaeology at Durham University. She specialises in the archaeology of Iron Age and Classical Anatolia, and in the study of art, visual culture and social identities. She has previously worked as a research fellow at the University of Oxford, Koç University in Istanbul and the British Institute at Ankara, and as a lecturer at the University of Oxford and The Courtauld Institute of Art. She has authored numerous articles on art and landscapes in ancient Anatolia, and a monograph on sculpture from Kerkenes Dağı in Central Anatolia as well as two edited volumes. She is currently working on further publications, and is conducting new research on diversity in archaeology.
