Robert Pitt
Robert Pitt is an historian specialising in ancient Greek inscriptions. After studying for a degree and Masters in Ancient History, he is in the process of completing his PhD. from Royal Holloway, University of London. He was Assistant Director of the British School of Archaeology at Athens from 2007-2014 and is a faculty member at College Year in Athens.
Robert has participated in excavations in Greece, Turkey and Albania, worked as Special Assistant in the Greek and Roman Department of The British Museum and led tours around Greece and Turkey. A keen walker and sailor he has a passion for travel and exploring the ancient sites and cultures of the Mediterranean.
