We had a fabulous time. 12 of the 18 people on the trip had travelled with Peter Sommer Travels before and we all really got along well. This no doubt was the most well travelled group of people I have ever met and their stories kept us up late into the night. An amazing adventure - not to mention how gorgeous and awesome the Greek islands are just in and of themselves. The gulet Aegean Clipper was very comfortable for a sailboat. The captain and crew were very highly skilled and we especially appreciated that. It is the knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides that raises this trip so far above others.
Life aboard the gulet was an extraordinary combination of learning about the history and culture of the islands, exploring ashore, relaxing aboard, and enjoying the many water sports offered by the boat and crew. Our guides were expert, engaging and fun to spend time with. The crew was superb and the chef created amazing meals. For those interested in learning the history of the region, while traveling in first class accommodations aboard a classic Turkish gulet, Peter Sommer Travels is a highly recommended choice.
